Basilio Monastra (Messina, Italy)
Lead, Rhythm Acoustic Guitars and lead Vocalist
A recent addition to the Cleveland, Ohio Italian community. Basilio has had an exciting career as a composer and lead vocalist in clubs and concerts throughout Sicily, Italy, and France. Music is life for Basilio and it shows in his compositions. His talented guitar playing and throaty warm voice adds a romantic depth to the bands songs.

Francesco Stavole (Latina, Italy)
Bassist and Vocalist
Francesco is a dynamic, hard working musician with a firm drive. He has played the bass guitar and managed along side many fine groups in Italy and the United States. Francesco participated in the "Cantagiro" in 1968 with his group "The Lamps" and toured across Italy with Nancy Cuomo playing songs "Chiedi e ti daro" and "Ieri" on the Cetra Label. His band also performed with Alfonso Abbate, Iva Zanicchi, I Vianella, and Nino Modugno. In the United States he performed with his band Apocalypse with Claudio Villa, Giovanna, Albano and Romina Power. After a short time, "Marionette" received maximum exposure in clubs, schools, colleges, and concerts. Francesco’s skill with the bass and colorful stage presence sets the attitude for Oro Puro’s “Show Band” status.
